Decoding Your Public Reputation

Understanding Care Compare, Star Ratings, and LeapFrog

On-Demand Webinar

In this session, Erin Heilman, SVP of Regulatory Affairs, will review where each of these programs pulls its data from. Most of these programs use measures publicized on Care Compare, which pulls from these major programs: Inpatient Quality Reporting (IQR), Hospital Readmission Reduction Programs (HRRP), Hospital Value-Based Purchasing, and Hospital Acquired Condition Reduction programs.

These programs directly influence a hospital's public image and financial performance. The data from these programs feed into public reputation platforms like Care Compare and LeapFrog, highlighting the necessity for hospitals to proactively manage and accurately report their performance data to improve their standings in public assessments.

Erin will also provide a matrix to help you understand how these programs all work together.
